It costs € 30 in Holland but a good second hand in Kathmandu is only € 6. So, you will save € 24 and quit heavy weight while traveling.

LCD headlights or flashlights in all different shapes and latest models;

In Europe these items cost at least 59 Euro, while the prices in Nepal are about 10 Euro. A small maglite torch costs 6 Euro

Outdoor shop with, Jackets, poncho’s, raincoats etc......Name it, it's there for very reasonable prices.
SIGG water bottles 1.5 liter; € 15 in Europe, here …only.

Any cosmetic items like Nivea Crème, Dove soap and shampoos as well as other none brand items are also available here for cheap prices.

Any cold drinks are available (out of the refrigerator) like Beer, Coke, Fanta and many more...

Hard drinks (Whiskey, Rum, Gin, Bailey’s and many more...)
......you name it, and it's there.

All famous brands of Biscuit's, Chocolates are available here. But “dropjes” and "old cow cheese" are hard to find in Nepal.

So, please bring some for us!

All kinds of German breads are available here. And after 7 PM, you will get 50% discount on all breads.

So, it's good that you buy your break-fast for next morning.

Tea, cheese, jam, butter and peanutbutter are also available in supermarkets.

In many places, you get 10% discount on photograph development.

And nowadays almost everywhere in town, you can burn the pictures in CD from your digital camera.

There are many CD shops. Any kind of music CDs are available in prices around € 1 or € 2 only!

Note: Speaker boxes for your walk/disk man are available for € 8.

In every corner of Kathmandu and Pokhara, you will find internet cafes and telephone shops.

Internet browsing is € 25 cent per 1 hour and international telephone call is also € 45 cent for a minute.

You will find many shops for Gift and Souvenir items.

These items are also cheap in prices.

Parcel services are also easily available here.
